Job summary

Warren Mead Schools is seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our nursery on a fixed-term basis. You will deliver high-quality care and early years education, plan engaging activities, and support each child's development in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

You will work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to safeguard children's welfare and to ensure strong learning outcomes, in line with EYFS guidelines and school policies.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality care and education, who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment. You will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. This is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare
• Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
• Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
• Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
