Job summary

Hallfield School in Birmingham is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our nursery. This full-time, year-round role involves early years care for children aged 3 months to 3 years, with shift rotations from 7:30am to 6:16pm and a salary of £26,509 - £29,263 per annum depending on experience.

You will support learning through playful activities, maintain observational records, and communicate with parents, while upholding EYFS safeguarding practices and building strong relationships

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification.
• Experience with children aged 3 months to 3 years is preferred.
• Understanding of safeguarding and EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Support Room Leaders in planning and delivery of play and learning.
• Undertake observational records of the children.
• Care routines for children in the room / key worker group.
• Facilitate two-way communication with parents and carers.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals.
