Job summary

Holmesdale Community Infant School is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our busy school nursery, delivering high-quality EYFS learning experiences and nurturing care for our youngest learners.

You will work within a supportive early years team, focusing on observation, assessment, planning next steps, safeguarding and building strong partnerships with families to promote inclusive practice and positive outcomes for every child.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Have experience working within an early years setting.
• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
• Can demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Have experience working in a school-based nursery.
• Can demonstrate sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations within early years.

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through observation, assessment and effective next-step planning.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment.
