Job summary

Lewis Street Primary School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant Level 3 to support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2. You will work 32.5 hours per week in a multicultural setting, under an Executive Head, with strong team collaboration and a commitment to inclusive education.

The role focuses on delivering targeted learning, supporting Read Write Inc Phonics, and modelling school values of Excellence, Respect, Challenge and Self-Belief to help every child reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Have a Level 3 diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of Read Write Inc Phonics.
• Promote and model the school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF.
• Develop high quality professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents, carers and Governors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching and learning across whole class provision.
• Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of groups of pupils, including those with SEND.
• Be committed to experiential learning and teamwork.
• Self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities.
