Sherdley Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative Level 3 Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and committed team, working primarily in Upper KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professional development is encouraged, and every child is valued.

The candidate must have experience in a primary school setting (ideally a minimum of two years in a school provision) and possess the aptitude and desire to support the delivery of quality education. The candidate should be experienced in the KS2 curriculum and be able to deliver appropriate intervention programmes. Ideally candidates should also have experience of working with and supporting children with SEN, please ensure that you make your KS2 experience clear in the application form.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Support pupil learning in class, groups or one-to-one
  • Provide class cover in the teacher's absence
  • Provide structured programmes to pupils
  • Prepare and maintain teaching resources
  • Assist in a high quality of provision of welfare for all pupils
