Job summary

Wastestream Services Limited is offering an Engineering and manufacturing support technician apprenticeship at Level 3. The role involves hands-on fabrication, assembly and testing of waste machinery, plus field servicing and CAD-based layout work.

You will train under HRUC across Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge colleges, with a 4-year programme and a standard Monday–Friday working pattern. GCSE English and Maths are required, and a focus on safety and quality is emphasized.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grades 4–9 are essential.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development, manufacture and assembly of waste machinery.
• Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment in the field.
• Provide technical support to customers, particularly in hospitality.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance on machines.
