Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting a Level 3 EYFS Nursery Practitioner for September 2026 in Walton-on-Thames (KT12). The role is full-time and long-term, supporting the Early Years team to provide high-quality, play-based learning in a welcoming school environment.

You will work with an experienced EYFS team to nurture children’s development, build strong relationships with families and colleagues, and contribute to ongoing assessments and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• Experience in nursery, preschool, or primary school EYFS setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Warm, nurturing, patient, and passionate about supporting young children.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Enjoys engaging, play-based learning and collaborative teamwork.
• Excellent safeguarding awareness and child-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through high-quality play-based activities.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive Early Years environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, language and physical development.
• Work alongside teachers and the wider EYFS team to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Observe children's progress and contribute towards assessments where appropriate.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
