Job summary

Operam Education group is seeking a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner for a role in Kingston upon Thames. You will support early years learning, supervise safety, and build positive relationships with children and families.

The role requires EYFS knowledge, DBS clearance, and a caring, enthusiastic team player mindset. Start date is September 1, 2026, with school hours from 8:30am to 4pm, working in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with Early Years Foundation Stage guidance.
• Enhanced DBS check required; must be able to provide a copy of original qualifications before placement.
• For teaching roles, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support for children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's learning and development.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, colleagues and parents/carers.

About You

• Level 3 Childcare Practitioner who is caring, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children.
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be confident in supporting children's learning through play and engaging activities.
• Reliable and positive team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding care.
• Previous experience working within a school or early years setting would be advantageous.
