Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to support a large Early Years setting across Nursery and Reception in Ashington, Northumberland. The role offers £462.80-£500 per week (PAYE), with temporary to permanent progression, from October 2026 to July 2027.

Responsibilities include classroom support, daily routines, promoting positive behaviour and play-based EYFS learning. Experience with SEND and a current Level 3 EYFS qualification are essential; a first aid qualification is

Qualifications

• Level 3 EYFS qualification or L3 TA qualification.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• Passion for progress of primary school pupils.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across Nursery and Reception.
• Assist with daily routines and promote positive behaviour.
• Support play-based learning in line with EYFS.
• Provide 1:1 SEN support when required.
