Job summary

Shooting Stars Hinckley is seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Hinckley. The role involves delivering high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged preschool and nursery, with a focus on nurturing relationships and EYFS-based practice.

The successful candidate will be passionate about early years development, capable of working as a key person, and committed to safeguarding, with opportunities for professional development and career

Qualifications

• Hold a full Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience in nursery, preschool or childcare
• Understanding of EYFS framework
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Act as a key person and build relationships with children and families
• Support children's routines and emotional wellbeing
• Deliver engaging play and learning experiences reflecting children's interests
• Observe, assess and record children's development in line with the EYFS
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive
• Encourage children's communication, social development and curiosity
• Work in partnership with parents to support children's learning journeys
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
