Job summary

Shooting Stars Hinckley is seeking a Qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) to join our nursery team. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm, and we will consider part-time applications.

You will provide high-quality early years care, build strong relationships with children and families, monitor development, and work within EYFS guidelines in a supportive environment that values development and progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Early Years practitioner.
• Experience in nursery/preschool environment.
• Solid understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key person and build positive relationships with children and families.
• Support children's routines and emotional wellbeing.
• Deliver engaging play and learning experiences reflecting children's interests.
• Observe, assess and record development in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment for children to thrive.
• Encourage communication, social development and curiosity.
• Work with parents to support children's learning journeys.
• Follow safeguarding, health and nursery policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
