Job summary

Thrive Education is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic school in Cheltenham that is looking to welcome a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their pre-school team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

Location: Cheltenham. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:15pm. Pay: £16.87 per hour. This is a wonderful opportunity to support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a warm, nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
• Experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about supporting children's development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to providing outstanding care and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 3-4 within a nurturing pre-school environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging play-based learning activities.
• Encourage children's social, emotional and educational development.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of care.
