Job summary

StaffNest Recruitment Agency is seeking a caring Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a nursery in RG27 Hook. You will work as a key person, support children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS, and help plan engaging activities while keeping a safe, inclusive environment.

Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification suitable for EYFS ratios, have strong communication and teamwork skills, and be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS. Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS.
• Planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities.
• Carrying out observations and supporting children's next steps.
• Working as a key person
• Supporting children's personal care and daily routines
• Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies
• Building positive relationships with parents and colleagues
