Job summary

Hays Education are recruiting for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner in Walsall, joining the pre-school team within a welcoming primary setting. You will support learning and development through activities, observations and assessments, helping each child thrive in a caring environment.

The role focuses on building relationships with children, parents and staff, with responsibilities including tracking progress, planning activities and maintaining learning records.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with pre-school-aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
  • Experience carrying out observations and assessments.
  • A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS.

Responsibilities

Your new role:

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will have responsibility for a small group of key children within the pre-school provision. You will support their learning and development through engaging activities, observations and assessments, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting a small group of key children within the pre-school setting
