Job summary

AMA Admin's Gateshead nursery is expanding and recruiting two Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming, nurturing setting.

You will work with children across the early years range, support development and wellbeing in line with EYFS, and plan engaging activities while building strong relationships with families.

This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week) with shifts from 7:30am to 6:00pm; a supportive team and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE/NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and good communication.
• Ability to work well in a team with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Observe, assess and track children's development and progress.
• Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and parents.
• Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures.
• Support children with additional needs by: identifying SEND needs, implementing individual plans, liaising with parents and professionals, promoting inclusive practice.
