Job summary

F1 Personnel Ltd is recruiting Vehicle Inspectors for a temp-to-perm role within a leading automotive organisation. You will complete 70-point vehicle inspections prior to auction release in a professional workshop environment.

Pay starts during the first 12 weeks at £12.71 per hour with average weekly earnings around £540, rising to about £690 and £36,000 per year after qualification, plus productivity bonuses.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Recent workshop, garage or dealership experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage paperwork.
• Good administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform 70-point vehicle inspections on a variety of vehicles before auction release.
• Complete essential, fast-turnaround, blue sticker inspections and more detailed checks with higher bonus potential.
• Every completed inspection increases your weekly productivity bonus.
• High-performing inspectors regularly earn £200+ bonus per week.

The Role

What You Need

• NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Recent workshop, garage, dealership, roadside or fast-fit experience

Licence Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
• No CD, CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements

Pay

First 12 Weeks
£12.71 per hour

Productivity bonus paid per completed inspection

Shift Patterns

Standard Pattern is Monday to Friday however some depots also offer 4 on / 4 off Off-Set (either Wednesday to Sunday or Saturday to Wednesday)

Hours

08:00 – 17:30
Average 42.5 hours per week
Overtime available during busy periods

Contract Status

Initial 3-month temporary contract
Extension or permanent offer available after successful review
