Job summary

Monkton Wood Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support students’ educational, personal and social development. Working under teaching staff guidance, you will provide targeted support to help students access the curriculum and engage in learning.

You will work one-to-one and in small groups, delivering tailored strategies, supporting classroom delivery and, when needed, covering lessons. This role emphasises inclusion, safeguarding and collaborative teamwork with SENCo/INCo and

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) in supporting teaching and learning, alongside good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience supporting students individually and in groups, helping to monitor progress and deliver targeted interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet a range of needs.
• Commitment to inclusion, equality, and safeguarding.

Responsibilities
