Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils, including those with SEND, inside the classroom and during targeted interventions. The role involves promoting independence, confidence and engagement while assisting teachers with classroom management.

The successful candidate will work under the SENDCo and teaching staff, contributing to an inclusive, safe learning culture and ensuring pupils make excellent progress with appropriate support.

Formación

• Experience working with young people.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills to support learning.
• Experience of supporting pupils in an educational setting or equivalent.
• Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding, supporting progress.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils to access learning in class and through targeted interventions.
• Assist in creating an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment.
• Support teachers with effective management of pupils and activities.
