Job summary

Bruntcliffe Academy is seeking to recruit a committed andenthusiastic colleague to the role of Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This is arewarding position that plays a vital role in supporting pupils to accesslearning and achieve their full potential.

Working under the guidance of the SENDCo and teaching staff, thesuccessful candidate will provide support for pupils, including those withSpecial Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both within the classroomand through targeted intervention activities. The role involves helping tocreate an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment, promotingpupils' independence, confidence and engagement in learning, while assistingteachers with the effective management of pupils and classroom activities.
