Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant (Level 2 Qualified) to support primary schools across Nottingham and surrounding areas. This role offers varied contracts—from full-time and part-time to flexible day-to-day arrangements—with competitive daily rates.

You will assist teachers, lead small group literacy and numeracy interventions, support pupils with diverse needs, and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, CACHE Level 2, or equivalent).
• Experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive, student-focused approach.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Experience: Previous experience working within a UK primary school setting.
• DBS Check: Hold an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one through us.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive, student-focused approach.
• Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK.
