Salary: Grade D. SCP 7 £19,763 - SCP 10 £20,730 (Actual salary, Part time, TTO)

Hours Per Week: 32.5 hours

Base Location: Canon Burrows Primary School

Assessment Date: 3 March 2025

The Governors invite applications from enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a happy and successful team in this popular and outstanding school. We require someone who:

  • has sympathy with and will support the Christian ethos of the school
  • has good numeracy and literacy skills
  • has the ability to maintain and develop good relations between home, school, church and the wider community
  • has commitment and a sense of humour
  • has good working knowledge of supporting pupil inclusion
  • can work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities
  • has experience of working in a primary school, and supporting teaching and learning activities for groups or classes of children under the supervision of the class teacher.

Prior to interview, the completion of an Employment Self-Declaration and Disclosure Form is required and the school will complete online checks as per KCSIE 2023 to support Safer Recruitment.

The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and enhanced clearance by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
