This Teaching Assistant Level 2 job will involve supporting the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom and will be working in the year 2 class. You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required. This may involve taking groups of children out of the class to support them with their learning on a group by group basis. This Teaching Assistant Level 2 job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.

Teaching Assistant Level 2- Role & Responsibilities:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
• Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
• Deliver catch-up sessions

Teaching Assistant Level 2- Non-negotiables:

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two years
• Must have a passion for education
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
• Must be reliable and punctual
