Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support Year 6 pupils in a warm, one-form-entry primary school in BL6 from Christmas until the end of the academic year.

You will work with small groups and individuals, delivering SATs interventions and assisting with English and Maths to raise attainment.

Formación

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in Key Stage 2 and SATs intervention delivery.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills with good communication.
• Ability to work with individuals and small groups.

A warm, welcoming, and supportive one-form entry primary school in BL6 is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their Year 6 team from Christmas until the end of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly school community and help pupils prepare for the transition to secondary school.

As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teaching and learning within a Year 6 classroom.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to raise attainment and build confidence.
• Deliver targeted interventions in English and Maths.
• Provide support for pupils preparing for their SATs assessments.
• Lead small group activities and interventions independently when required.
• Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs to ensure they reach their full potential.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Have previous experience working within Key Stage 2.
• Be confident delivering and supporting SATs intervention groups.
• Have strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Be able to work effectively with both individuals and small groups.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to helping children succeed.
