Job summary

Value Education LTD in the Salford area is seeking a passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils and help deliver engaging lessons. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a start date targeted for September 2026.

You will assist with classroom preparation, monitor student progress, and support teachers by leading activities and ensuring a positive learning environment. DBS checks are offered if needed, and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

Experience within classrooms within a primary school.
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
DBS on the update service (we will work with you to obtain one if you don't have one).
Strong communication with patience and a positive approach towards students.

Responsibilities

Helping individual and/or groups of students to achieve their full potential in each classroom.
Help to prepare the classroom for whatever may be in store for the class on that lesson.
To record and report back the progress of students to teachers, parents or carers.
To lead activities within the classroom and assist the teachers with the delivery of lessons.
