Job summary

Repton Swim School is seeking a Level 2 Swim Instructor to run safe swimming lessons for children at Repton School. You will plan and deliver lessons in line with Swim England stages and Repton standards.

You will demonstrate techniques, correct faults, assess progress and update the online portal. Casual AYR contract with Saturday and Sunday hours available.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver swimming lessons for children.
• Follow Swim England learn to swim stages and Repton teaching standards.
• Provide demonstrations and explanations of swimming techniques and correct faults.

Location: Repton School, although may be required to work at Repton Prep

Responsible to: Sports Centre Manager

Contract Type: Casual AYR

Hours of work: Casual and regular hours available. Hours available will be:

• Saturday - 9am to 12.30pm
• Sundays 9am to 12pm

Salary: £22.32 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Level 2 Swim Instructor for Repton Swim School. To work as a Level 2 Swim Instructor for Repton Swim School, you will run successful and safe swimming lessons for the children of the swim school.

You will be expected to plan and deliver swimming lessons in line with Swim England's learn to swim stages and following the Repton standards of teaching. Additionally, to this you will be expected to provide demonstrations and explanations of swimming techniques, correct faults and identify ways to improve performance.

Furthermore, regularly assessing the children and providing feedback will be a key part of your role and updating the children's progress on their online portal.
