Job summary

Monmouthshire County Council is seeking a friendly and patient swimming instructor to join our leisure team at Monmouth Leisure Centre. You will help learners of all ages develop swimming skills, refine technique, and build confidence in the water.

Role requires a positive, customer-focused approach and a DBS check (Enhanced with Children Barred List). Welsh language skills are desirable and may be beneficial for engagement with the local community.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our swimming team. As a vital part of our service, you will bring an approachable, friendly, and patient manner to every session. You will inspire confidence, build trust, and empower learners of all ages to develop their swimming skills, refine technique, and grow in confidence in the water.

SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year. i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers

Location

Monmouth Leisure Centre, NP25 3DP, United Kingdom. This may change in the future if this service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.
