Overview

The Social Care pathway provides a truly integrated, recovery focussed service to the people of South Staffordshire aged 16 and over, who are experiencing significant and disabling functional mental health difficulties.

Our social workers are core members of the multi-disciplinary mental health pathways supporting the recovery journey of adults with significant mental health needs.

Key Information

We currently have an opportunity for a Level 2 social worker and would particularly welcome applications from social workers who are also Approved Mental Health Professionals.

Qualifications

• Significant post qualifying experience, preferably of working in mental health services.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Approved Mental Health Professional (or willingness to undertake AMHP training at the earliest opportunity).
• Good working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act.
