Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner for Wirral to join a supportive childcare team. The role focuses on delivering EYFS-aligned care, planning engaging activities, and maintaining child progress records as a dedicated key person within a permanent, full-time position.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification, have experience in an early years setting, and demonstrate strong communication and safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 2 Childcare/Early Years qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in an early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Good communication, reliability and commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and early education in line with EYFS.
• Design and deliver engaging activities supporting developmental milestones.
• Act as Key Person, recording child progress and maintaining records.
• Build professional relationships with parents, carers and teammates.
• Maintain safe, inclusive indoor and outdoor learning environments.
