Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner for a permanent role in the Wirral area. The successful candidate will deliver EYFS-aligned care and engaging activities, acting as a Key Person and maintaining developmental records.

The role emphasizes strong communication with parents and carers, safeguarding, and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment across indoor and outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full Level 2 Childcare/Early Years qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in an early years setting and knowledge of EYFS.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and strong communication with parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and early education aligned with EYFS.
• Design engage activities supporting developmental milestones.
• Act as Key Person, monitor progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and the team.
• Maintain safe, inclusive indoor/outdoor learning environments.
