Job summary

GKN Aerospace, based in Bristol, is seeking a skilled Level 2 NDT Technician to join their team at the International Centre of Excellence. This role involves inspecting composite wing spars and components for aircraft like the A350XWB using advanced ultrasonic testing techniques on a core night shift pattern.

You will be involved in ensuring compliance with health and safety and aerospace quality standards while providing critical reports. A competitive salary along with a 33% shift allowance and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Documented training and work experience for EN4179 Level 2 qualification.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience in aerospace composite manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Semi-Automated and Manual Phased Array Inspection.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Provide NDT reports as needed.
