This role involves inspecting composite wing spars and components for aircraft like the A350XWB using advanced ultrasonic testing techniques on a core night shift pattern.

Due to continued growth in business, we have an exciting and career defining opportunity for a Level 2 NDT Technician to join the team in Western Approach. This site is an International Centre of Excellence in composite wing structure design and production, manufacturing composite wing spars and Fixed Trailing Edge assemblies for some of the world's most popular aircraft. The successful applicant will inspect and evaluate the A350XWB and A400M carbon wing spars and their associated components throughout the manufacturing process, using semi-automated and manual phased array and conventional pulse echo ultrasonic testing techniques. You will work a core night shift pattern (Monday – Thursday, 20:00 – 06:00) which includes 33% shift allowance.
Carry out Semi-Automated, Manual Phased Array and Manual Pulse Echo Ultrasonic Inspection of carbon fibre composite wing spars and associated components.
