Job summary

Safran Landing Systems Gloucester is seeking a skilled Level 2 NDT Technician to join the Engineering Materials Laboratory. You will perform non-destructive inspections on production components to ensure product integrity and compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards.

In this highly regulated aerospace environment, you will support continuous improvement, participate in NADCAP audit readiness, and maintain accurate records while working a rotating 3-shift schedule to meet

Qualifications

• Level 2 NDT certification in EN4179, NAS410, ASNT, or PCN.
• Experience performing NDT inspections in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 2 NDT inspections using MPI, PT, and AEI.
• Process components per approved inspection procedures and standards.
• Investigate and inspect components from production, test, and in-service environments.
• Support non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Liaise with internal customers, engineering, and quality teams.
• Support calibration and NADCAP audit preparation and compliance.
• Maintain inspection records and certification documentation.
• Work within a rotating 3-shift pattern (days, bridging, nights).
