Ganton School is seeking casual staff to support pupils aged 3 to 19 with learning, social and personal care needs. The role is term-time only and offered as a casual assignment to cover needs across different departments.
Successful candidates will have experience with children or a strong interest in working in a special needs setting, and they will work as part of a supportive team to enable pupils to access the curriculum and daily routines.
Grade & Scale point:3, SCP 3-5
Salary: £26,016 - £26,428 FTE, £13.48 - £13.70/hr
Hours of work: Various, up to 33 hrs per week
Contract: Casual Assignment, Term-time only
Start date: ASAP following pre-employment checks
We are a Special School with pupils from ages 3 to 19 and we pride ourselves on our outstanding quality of education. We are seeking to strengthen and increase our team by expanding our bank of casual staff who will be placed according to the needs of the school.
Many of our pupils have complex medical needs as well as learning and/or communication difficulties. The ideal candidate will be flexible, willing to work around the different departments of the school and have experience of working with special needs children or an interest in gaining experience of working within a special needs school. The pupils require high levels of adult support not only to access the school curriculum but also with personal care routines.
