Job summary

Future Select Recruitment in Leeds, West Yorkshire seeks a LEV Testing Engineer to join a leading LEV/Ventilation contractor. The role requires P601 qualification, COSHH awareness, and willingness to travel to client sites across the region.

You will conduct inspections and testing of LEV, ventilation, and dust extractor systems; service dust extractors; perform emissions tests; and prepare detailed technical reports while upholding high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum BOHS P601 qualification.
• Hands-on LEV testing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HSG 258 guidelines.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial premises desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing on LEV, ventilation and dust extractor systems.
• Servicing on dust extractor systems.
• Perform emissions testing.
• DOP and HEPA filter testing.
• Remedial works including filter, fan and belt replacements.
• Assess system performance and highlight repairs.
• Provide technical support to clients.
• Update clients on project progress.
• Compile detailed technical reports.

A leading name within the LEV / Ventilation industry is seeking a P601 qualified LEV Testing Engineer in the North of England. They are ideally seeking someone who can hit the ground running, with robust knowledge of COSHH and HSG 258 guidelines. Our client has a presence nationwide, and will require engineers to be open-minded and flexible to travel in line with client needs. Due to the nature of their contracts, they can consider candidates from across the region and beyond. Experience / Qualifications:

• Will hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
• Hands-on experience working as a LEV Testing Engineer
• Strong technical knowledge, including: HSG 258 guidelines
• Experience working within Manufacturing and Industrial premises
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Conducting inspections and testing on LEV, Ventilation and Dust Extractor systems
• Servicing on Dust Extractor systems

• Remedial works, including filter, fan and belt replacements
• Assessing overall system performance and highlighting any required repairs
