Job summary

Future Select are recruiting a LEV Testing Engineer to join their clients across Bolton and the wider UK. You will conduct on-site inspections of LEV, dust and fume extraction systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a P601 qualification, travel to industrial sites nationwide, strong reporting skills and the ability to interpret schematics. A structured training and benefits package is on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven LEV Testing Engineer on dust/fume extraction systems.
• BOHS P601 qualification minimum.
• Good knowledge of HSG 258 and COSHH guidelines.
• Adaptable to UK-wide client travel requirements.
• Solid literacy and numeracy; strong report writing.
• Confident using IT software to complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of LEV, dust and fume extraction systems.
• Evaluate overall system performance and highlight remedial works.
• Replace components, including fans, filters and belts.
• Emissions testing.
• Testing on fume cupboards.
• Interpreting schematic drawings.
• Producing regular technical reports for clients.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries.

Job Title: LEV Testing Engineer

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £28k - £45k + Training & Benefits

Applicants will be expected to travel UK wide to a range of industrial, manufacturing and commercial premises. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring to provide an exemplary service whilst on site. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven track record working as an LEV Testing Engineer on Dust / Fume extraction systems
• Must hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
• Good working knowledge of HSG 258 and COSHH guidelines

• Confident using IT software to complete reports
