Job summary

Future Select Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a P601 qualified LEV Test Engineer to service a growing client base nationwide. You will conduct inspections of LEV, dust and fume extraction systems on site and report findings to clients.

Travel across industrial, manufacturing and commercial premises is expected; you will interpret drawings, advise on remedial works and contribute to a robust progression plan through training and development.

Qualifications

• Proven track record working as an LEV Testing Engineer on Dust / Fume extraction systems.
• Must hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum.
• Good working knowledge of HSG 258 and COSHH guidelines.
• Adaptable to client travel requirements.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Confident using IT software to complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough inspections and testing of LEV, dust and fume extraction systems.
• Evaluating overall system performance and highlighting any required remedial works.
• Replacing components, including: fans, filters and belts.
• Emissions testing.
• Testing on fume cupboards.
• Interpreting schematic drawings.
• Producing regular technical reports for clients.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries and providing advice.
• Working in accordance with set deadlines and compliance guidelines.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring to provide an exemplary service whilst on site.
