Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a LEV Testing Engineer in Bolton to inspect and test LEV systems across UK sites. The role requires travel and a BOHS P601, with strong reporting and client liaison skills.

You will conduct inspections, evaluate performance, replace components, perform emissions tests, interpret drawings, and produce client reports within compliance timelines. Training and progression paths are highlighted in the package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of LEV, dust and fume extraction systems.
• Evaluate overall system performance and highlight remedial works.
• Replace components including fans, filters and belts.
• Perform emissions testing.
• Test on fume cupboards.
• Interpret schematic drawings.
• Produce regular technical reports for clients.
• Act as a key contact for clients, answering technical queries and providing advice.
• Work in accordance with deadlines and compliance guidelines.

Job Title: LEV Testing Engineer

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: 28k - 45k + Training & Benefits

An industry-leading provider of LEV / Ventilation services has recently grown their client portfolio, and requires a P601 qualified LEV Test Engineer to join their team. Applicants will be expected to travel UK wide to a range of industrial, manufacturing and commercial premises. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring to provide an exemplary service whilst on site. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven track record working as an LEV Testing Engineer on Dust / Fume extraction systems
• Must hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
• Good working knowledge of HSG 258 and COSHH guidelines
• Adaptable to client travel requirements
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Confident using IT software to complete reports

The Role:
