Job summary

Spicerhaart Group Ltd. in Sheffield is seeking a proactive Lettings Negotiator to join Haybrook Estate Agents. You will liaise with prospective tenants, arrange viewings, negotiate offers, and help landlords manage tenancies as part of a fast-paced team.

The role offers a basic salary between £16,000 and £18,000 with an uncapped commission scheme, and a chance to progress through industry training and our Elevate incentives. A customer-focused approach and strong IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (mandatory) and access to own vehicle.
• Team-oriented with a positive working environment.
• Track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership.
• Good telephone manner and communication skills.
• Proficient with basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Attention to detail in tenancy management and compliance.
• Understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging property viewings.
• Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Marketing properties to tenants using various marketing techniques.
• Generating new and repeat business for the lettings team.
• canvassing the local area and generating leads.
• Door knocking and leaflet distribution as required.
• Ensuring properties meet health and safety standards.

A day in the life of a Lettings Negotiator

• Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
• Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
• Marketing properties to tenants utilizing various marketing skills
• A focus on generating new and repeat business
• Canvassing the local area

Essential Skills of a Lettings Negotiator

• Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
• Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.

We are currently conducting some interviews using video software. To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you will need:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must have access to your own vehicle
• Before starting with us, you will need to provide proof of business insurance for your vehicle.
• Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
• We’ll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate
