Job summary

Haslams is seeking a proactive Lettings professional to join its Reading team. You will work with eight lettings colleagues and support the wider Haslams network across Wokingham, Crowthorne and London.

A strong customer-service focus and attention to detail are essential as you handle viewings, valuations, and paperwork. Ideal candidates show interest or experience in property, with IT literacy and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in the property industry.
• Dynamic and self-motivated and people-first attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good local knowledge.
• Willingness to learn and IT-literate with a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Book and follow up viewings, provide landlord feedback.
• Book valuations and gather background information on landlords’ situations.
• Collaborate with Sales to build relationships with investor buyers.
• Maintain personal and office diaries and manage email inboxes.
• Conduct viewings to company standards and prepare new let paperwork.
• Carry out daily activities to meet targets set for the role.

Person Specification

Key Responsibilities:

• Competently booking and following up viewings, providing landlord feedback
• Competently booking valuations, obtaining detailed background information on the landlord’s situation
• Working closely with the Sales department to build relationships with investor buyers
• Maintaining and managing personal and office diaries
• Hourly management of email inboxes
• Conducting viewings to a set standard, following company procedures
• Competently putting together new let paperwork
• Carrying out the daily activities to meet daily and weekly personal activity targets

Ideally

Four weekdays 8:30am to 6pm

Plus every Saturday 9am-4pm

or

Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 6:00pm

Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 4pm
