Job description

Our client is a leading, award-winning Estate Agents in Ilkeston. They are looking for an Experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their expanding team.

The right candidate will have previous experience within the Lettings industry and in a similar role. In this position you will be liaising with landlords, tenants and clients, ensuring the company continues with their exceptionally high customer service levels and growth.

As the new Lettings Negotiator, you will:

• Carry out routine property inspections
• Process tenant references and key legislative dates
• Deal with moving tenants into their new home
• Carry out property viewings
• Professionally deal with clients face-to-face, by phone and e-mail
• Build rapport when dealing with landlords, tenants and clients
• Consistently canvass for new business and opportunities
• Provide support to colleagues and management

Requirements for this role:

• Experience using Microsoft word, excel and outlook
• Full driving licence with own vehicle
• Previous sales/customer service experience
• Experience in a similar role

About you:

Our client is looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual who thrives in a team environment and demonstrates strong communication skills and integrity. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Confidence with IT systems and solid knowledge of the local area are also essential.

About this role:

• This is a full-time, permanent role.
• This position is office based.
• Saturday working on a rota is an essential part of this role.

What you can expect in return:

• £23,000-£28,000 (Dependent on experience)
• Competitive Bonus Scheme
• Holiday: 20 days + 8 bank holidays, this will accrue each year of service up to a maximum of 25 days
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30, Saturday 09:00 – 15:00 (Day in lieu for Saturday)
• Workplace pension
