Job summary

Kings Permanent Recruitment for Estate Agents & Financial Services Professionals is hiring a Lettings Negotiator to join a busy estate agency team. The role offers a basic salary of £24,000–£25,000 plus commission, with realistic OTE of £28,000–£32,000 for full-time work.

• Liaise with potential tenants to understand requirements and recommend suitable properties.

• Conduct periodic inspections to ensure properties are well maintained.
• Undertake property valuations and present services to landlords.
• Be an all-rounder and cover multiple roles in the office.

Lettings Negotiator

• Basic salary £24,000 to £25,000, depending on relevant experience, plus commission. Realistic on target earnings of between £28,000 and £32,000 if full time.
• For full-time 5 days per week, including Saturdays (you will have a day off during the week when working a Saturday). Opening hours are 8.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm Friday and 9.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays.
• For part-time this salary will be pro rata, depending on number of days worked and we would require a minimum of 3 full days per week to include some Saturdays. Also, the ability to occasionally cover 5 full days per week during periods of holiday and sickness (estimated 6 to 8 weeks a year maximum).
• Holiday entitlement is either 21 or 22 days plus 8 Bank Holidays plus you can enjoy your birthday as an additional day off.

• Liaising with potential new tenants to understand their individual requirements and backgrounds, to make informed recommendations of suitable properties to rent and landlords.
• Develop a good understanding of the property portfolio.
• Coordinating and conducting property viewings with prospective tenants.
• Negotiating terms between the landlord and tenants.
• Conducting periodic inspections of rental properties to ensure they are being well maintained by the tenants in occupation.
• Undertaking property valuations and presenting the company services to landlords.
