Job summary

The National Trust is seeking an experienced Buildings Supervisor to organise and manage building maintenance, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance programmes across our Let Estate portfolio in London and Surrey.

You will work with external contractors, attend sites, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards, liaising with Estate Managers and tenants as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of building pathology, construction legislation and risk management.
• Strong communication with contractors, tenants and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the Let Estate buildings.
• Coordinate planned repairs for residential, agricultural and commercial properties.
• Manage budgets for conservation and maintenance works and monitor delivery to time and on budget.
