Job summary

The National Trust is seeking an experienced Buildings Supervisor to lead maintenance across our Let Estate portfolio in London and Surrey, coordinating external contractors and ensuring projects stay on time and on budget. The role involves reactive repairs, planned preventative work, and compliance documentation, with travel across sites.

You will work with Estate Managers and Lettings Officers to ensure quality, safety and timely delivery, while staying aligned with conservation requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in buildings maintenance, repairs and planned works.
• Ability to manage budgets for conservation and maintenance.
• Strong communication with contractors, tenants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Organise day-to-day maintenance and repairs across Let Estate buildings in London and Surrey.
• Oversee planned refurbishment and redecoration programmes.
• Manage budgets in coordination with Estate Manager and Senior Building Surveyor.
• Develop productive working relationships with external contractors and tenants.
