Job summary

NatWest Boxed in London is seeking a Lending Portfolio Lead to drive evolution of our decisioning strategy for consumer lending products—Unsecured Loans and Point-of-Sale finance.

You will partner with central teams, define roadmaps, and act as SME in commercial discussions, delivering data-driven KPI forecasting and insightful recommendations.

Collaboration with Credit, Fraud, Product, Data, and Engineering will be key to embedding strategy changes across platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Credit Strategy and Analytics role in consumer lending.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end digital consumer lending decisioning lifecycle.
• Ability to turn data into insights using SQL, Python and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Drive the evolution and optimisation of the decisioning strategy for consumer lending products (Unsecured Loans and Point-of-Sale finance).
• Partner with central credit and fraud strategy teams to define and deliver optimisation roadmaps for Boxed products.
• Champion Boxed’s priorities to influence the Group’s broader decisioning agenda.
• Act as SME in commercial discussions, evaluating opportunities and deals.
• Provide data-driven input on KPI forecasting, outlining credit and fraud implications.
• Conduct hands-on quantitative analyses to generate actionable insights.
• Develop internal credit and fraud MI with team members and partners.
• Work cross-functionally with Credit, Fraud, Product, Data, Operations, Risk, Finance.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to operationalize strategy changes in lending platforms.
