Job summary

Monzo is seeking a technical and strategic leader to head the Credit Platform team in the UK. You will define the roadmap for lending infrastructure, including credit valuation and NPV modelling, while shaping risk-aware product strategy across markets.

You will hire and mentor a high-performing Credit Analyst team, collaborate with Engineering, Data and Risk to accelerate experimentation and deployment, and influence senior stakeholders on the platform's evolution.

Qualifications

• Technical and strategic credit leader with unsecured lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of NPV modelling and credit infrastructure.
• Motivated by fast-paced environments, ambiguity, and building frameworks.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Product, Risk, ML and Credit.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Credit Platform roadmap and evolving shared infrastructure for lending.
• Build scalable credit valuation infrastructure and NPV modelling framework.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Credit Analysts.
• Partner with Credit, Engineering, Product, ML, Data and Risk teams to accelerate deployment.
• Represent the platform to senior leaders and influence future direction.
