Job summary

NatWest Boxed is seeking a Lending Portfolio Lead within the Commercial Strategy team to drive evolution and optimisation of our decisioning strategy across consumer lending products, including Unsecured Loans and Point-of-Sale finance.

You will partner with central credit and fraud strategy teams, champion Boxed priorities, and work cross-functionally with Credit, Fraud, Product, Data, Operations, Risk, and Finance to implement strategy changes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Credit Strategy and Analytics role (or similar) in the consumer lending space.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to turn data into insights to inform business initiatives.
• Ability to distill complex quantitative analyses into clear narratives for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive evolution and optimisation of decisioning strategy for consumer lending products (Unsecured Loans, POS finance).
• Partner with central credit and fraud strategy teams to define and deliver optimisation roadmaps for Boxed products.
• Champion Boxed priorities to influence NatWest Group's broader decisioning agenda.
• Provide data-led input on KPI forecasting and credit/fraud implications of commercial initiatives.
• Conduct hands-on quantitative analyses to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to operationalize strategy changes within lending platforms.
