Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking an enthusiastic Activity & Leisure Supervisor to help deliver our vibrant programme across the park. You will supervise daily operations, mentor your team, and ensure guests enjoy safe, memorable experiences from start to finish.

The role requires a valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification (or willingness to obtain), strong people skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Weekend and bank holiday availability is expected within a supportive safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing, coaching, and developing a team in a leisure or customer-focused environment.
• Excellent relationship building and confidence in working with internal teams and guests.
• Strong commercial awareness to maximise participation and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high quality swimming pool and activities programme with engaging, inclusive guest experiences.
• Maintain a safe environment for guests and team members, including handling of equipment and chemicals.
• Oversee daily management of leisure facilities and the activities programme.
• Ensure pool plant and safety systems are well maintained in line with standards.
• Ensure Lifeguards are trained and compliant with RLSS and STA requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and support leisure and lifeguard teams, including 1:1s.
• Contribute to park-wide success as part of the Heads of Department team.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety across leisure areas.
• Monitor performance and guest feedback to improve the activity schedule.
