Job summary

The Vale Resort in Pontyclun is seeking a casual Housekeeper to perform general cleaning in public areas and restrooms, handle laundry, and report maintenance issues. The role requires flexibility to work overnight between 10pm and 6am and to adhere to health and safety regulations.

Experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required. Applicants should be able to work independently, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sanitising public areas and restrooms
• Handle laundry duties: folding and restocking linens
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Restock housekeeping supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is stored properly
• Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety regulations
• Work overnight hours from 10pm to 6am as needed
