Job summary

Vale Resort is seeking an Evening Leisure Housekeeping Assistant on a casual contract. You will perform general cleaning across public areas and restrooms, handle laundry duties, and monitor safety hazards. The role includes overnight shifts from 10pm to 6am, with weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during the shift.
• Willingness to work overnight hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitising public areas and restrooms.
• Handle laundry duties, including folding and restocking linens.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is properly stored.
• Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety regulations.
