Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Swindon is seeking a motivated Leisure Club Manager to lead the day-to-day operation and development of the Leisure Club. The role focuses on membership growth, revenue, profitability and customer experience for both members and hotel guests.

You will own the overall performance of the Leisure Club, drive marketing initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure safety and brand standards are upheld in partnership with hotel teams.

Qualifications

• Experience within leisure, health club or similar environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, reliable and organized approach.
• Commercial awareness with interest in sales, marketing and membership growth.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Leisure team.
• Drive membership sales, retention and club performance.
• Develop initiatives to grow revenue, profitability and member engagement.
• Manage budgets, labour costs, forecasting and stock control.
• Create and deliver local marketing and membership activities.
• Monitor KPIs and use feedback to improve the club.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
• Collaborate with hotel management and maintenance for facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and procedures.
• Oversee health & safety requirements including risk assessments and pool operations.
• Act as Health & Safety Champion and coordinate safety meetings.
